Your Heart's Desire ~ Principal 2

Gain the Support of Your Subconscious Mind

Now that you have focused on what you want to create, you can now teach yourself what you consciously desire and what you subconsciously believe. These two need to be in agreement for you to succeed.

If your attention is on your conscious desire, but your subconscious is in disbelief, there is conflict and you will not attain your goal.

If you get stuck, you can remedy this easily, by talking directly to your subconscious and tell it what you have decided to create.. Your subconscious mind only knows 'yes'...it can't argue or disagree. If you say to yourself...I want to succeed; your subconscious mind will say, yes, I want to succeed. If you say success is bad, then your subconscious mind will say, yes, success is bad. Getting the hang of it? Mixed messages will have you going in circles.

This yes machine produces exactly what you believe and what you worry about. If you want to go in the direction of love, dwell on successful examples of love. If you want to move toward health, think of pleasant images of health and balance. The same goes for whatever it is you desire. Keep focusing your attention on these ideas until you believe they are waiting for you.

What Do You Believe?
Imagine what would happen if you actually did attain your dream How good can you stand it? That's as good as it gets.

Affirmations are another way to gain the support of your subconscious mind. Saying something positive to yourself over and over. It may sound silly, but it works.
Tell your subconscious mind that negative beliefs are no longer in charge. Burn and release them and replace then with positive thoughts.

Meditation

Close your eyes and pay attention to your breath. Focus on your heart's desire. If you find any negative distractions: worries, fears or other people's opinion, pull those out of your conscious and see them being released into the air or swallowed up by the ground. Imagine your conscious and subconscious mind coming together and focus on positive. Now make a conscious decision to be receptive to positive and your heart's desire. When you are ready, slowly open your eyes.

The Best Green Energy ~ ZERO Carbon

I have been reading alot about "carbon footprint" and how we can reduce our own footprint to help save our planet. I have even blogged about it here to give my readers ideas on how you can become involved. If we would take an interest and apply ourselves, it will make a difference.

Look at the below press release. British Gas has developed this unique and one of a kind green energy tariff. ZERO Carbon ~ meaning that you wouldn't leave a carbon footprint from the energy British Gas supplies to you. For just a extra few dollars, you could offset 100% of your homes carbon emmissions.

Shouldn't more companies adopt this concept?

Press Release:

BRITISH GAS LAUNCHES GREENEST ENERGY TARIFF

9 August 2007: British Gas has announced it is launching two new green energy tariffs, Zero Carbon, which will be the greenest tariff available on the domestic market and Future Energy. British Gas has launched the tariffs, in response to the increasing demand for green energy products.

Householders signing up to the Zero Carbon tariff will:
• reduce their household energy carbon emissions to zero through Kyoto compliant offset schemes which will meet the new Defra requirements
• help fund a direct increase in investment in renewable energy generated in the UK
• contribute to the new British Gas green fund which will:
o invest in developing new renewable technologies such as wave power
o oversee a programme to help schools in the UK reduce their CO2 emissions

GearĂ³id Lane, Managing Director British Gas New Energy said,”Our new tariff responds to consumer demand for truly green energy solutions. It is essential that customers have confidence in green energy tariffs and that their credibility is not damaged by tariffs that claim to be green but in reality do not deliver any incremental environmental benefits. Green tariffs are moving from niche to mainstream products and we’re leading the industry by offering a tariff that will do more for the environment than any other product currently available.”

Under the government’s Renewables Obligation (RO), electricity suppliers in the UK are already required to produce an increasing percentage of their electricity through methods such as wind farms which, unlike traditional power plants, produce zero carbon emissions. For 2007/2008 this figure is set at 7.9%.

In a recent report, the National Consumer Council (NCC) raised concerns that some energy suppliers are packaging electricity which is produced under the RO scheme as “green”, yet it delivers no additional environmental benefits. The NCC called on energy suppliers to take steps beyond their legal requirements and offer green energy tariffs that provide genuine additional environmental benefits, in particular CO2 emissions reduction.

British Gas worked with Global Action Plan and The Climate Group’s “We’re in this Together” campaign to develop Zero Carbon which goes further than any other green tariff in meeting these requirements offering consumers the only zero carbon option on the market.

The tariff carries a premium of £84 per year, reflecting the higher cost of producing energy through lower carbon emission schemes.

Virginia Graham, Chair of Global Action Plan, said, “The British Gas Zero Carbon tariff delivers on all three of the essential requirements of a green tariff which are: additionality, transparency and verifiability. As such it is a very welcome new offering in the market. Consumers signing up to the tariff can be confident that they are getting 12 per cent more renewable energy than they would otherwise have got. The carbon emissions from their electricity and gas will also be offset with emissions reductions from projects accredited by the United Nations.”

Zero Carbon is one of the first initiatives launched through the ‘We’re in this Together’ campaign, which was launched in April 07 as an alliance of some of the UK’s biggest brands who are all working to help their customers reduce their impact on the climate.

Dr Steve Howard, CEO of The Climate Group and founder of ‘We’re in this Together’ said, “We’re committed to offering people ways to make a real impact on climate change through Together.com. We’ve worked with British Gas to ensure that Zero Carbon is a genuine step forward in delivering more environmental benefits than any other tariff currently available.”

British Gas’s second green energy tariff, Future Energy, offers an alternative green electricity tariff at a premium of just £20 per year. Customers signing up to this tariff will contribute to a green fund which will provide solar panels and other renewable energy technologies to UK schools. Money from the fund will also be invested in development of future renewable technologies and sources.

To sign up customers can call British Gas on 0845 604 0055 or visit www.britishgas.co.uk

What Does Your Heart Desire?

The Universal Laws of Attraction. This is really a simple concept and it affects everyone, everywhere.

Have you ever heard the following phrases?
Like attracts like ~ Energy attracts like energy ~ What you sow, you reap
What comes around goes around

These are some forms of expressing the Law of Attraction

Sonia Choquette is the author of My Heart's Desire. She states the Universal laws of creative manifestation are impartial and success is available to anyone who learns how the process works. By coordinating our conscious beliefs and accessing our intuition, we tap into the natural power we all possess to create the life we wish for"

Within the book she teaches you the nine universal principals for creating your own reality. I believe everyone should learn these principals. These principals will help you in all areas of your life.

I will be posting a series containing each principal. Keep an open mind while you read each post and discover how you can truly benefit from each principal. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you.

Principal One: Bring Your Dream into Focus
The idea is that your thought creates. If you want to create an experience, you have to begin to have a clear, focused thought of that experience. Whatever you clearly focus on, you do create, whether or not you want to. If you have desire and it is heartfelt, your focus will be sharp. If you desire is vague, then it will not materialize.

Do you know what your Heart desires? not many people do.

Desire: A burning urge for some experience or outcome. This is what creates the spark that sets the creative miracle making process in motion. No spark, the process will not begin.

Ask yourself what you truly desire. Don't think this has to be only one goal. Be honest with yourself. Sometimes your desire is even overlooked. Dig deep. What do you need? What do you want now? Don't look into the future. Your immediate needs or wants must be with passion and intensity. Focus on today, tomorrow, next week...not next year.

Are you focusing on how much you dislike your job, or how unhappy you are in a relationship or even how jealous you are over someone else and what they have? If you are, you are creating those very conditions even though they make you unhappy. Shift your focus to a more satisfying experience: working at a job you love, feeling loved and appreciated, experience abundance. I think you understand the concept...

Develop and uncover your heart's desire. Don't reject what you really want or need because you are ashamed or someone talks you out of it. Keep your attention on your desire, count your blessings and if you find yourself stuck or blocked in finding your desire...ask your inner self for some guidance, close your eyes and relax. It might also help if you write down your desires and focus on your words
Meditation:
Close your eyes and pay attention to your breath. Once you are calm, ask your higher self, what is is that you desire. Allow the answer to come. Don't block, judge or change what enters your mind. Accept what comes. Continue breathing. focus on what is being created. then when you are ready, open your eyes.

Coming Next: Principle Two ~ Gain the Support of Your Subconscious mind .

"Whenever a negative thought comes, delete it and replace it with a good thought or good intention. This will take some practice and concentrated effort, but it can be done. Instead of continuously manifesting what you do not want in your life, change your focus. Practice adjusting the lens of your perception. It is Universal law that all of life will respond to our thoughts. So hold on tight to what your heart desires."

Myth About Microwaving

I've recently read an article that says Microwaving does not kill nutrients in our food. In the past, I have read and heard negative things about cooking in the microwave. This article was at least something good to read.

With my busy schedule, I use the microwave alot....reheating foods, defrosting and yes, even cooking some foods.

Every cooking method destroys some vitamins and nutrients in food. According to Ashim Datta, Ph.D, a professor of biological engineering at Cornell University, a microwave has been found to eliminate fewer nutrients than conventional cooking. He says it is because the destruction of nutrients depends on both temperature and cooking time.

In a microwave, vitamins are exposed to the heat briefly,so more nutrients are retained. The most heat sensitive nutrients are water soluble vitamins, such as folic acid and vitamins B and C.

Suggestion: don't over cook your food to retain more nutrients

US Health Alert: Food Recall

U. S. public health officials issue new warning for botulism.

CLICK HERE: Read News Article and See Food Recall

What is Botulism?
Botulism is a rare, but serious paralytic illness caused by a nerve toxin, botulin, that is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botulinic toxin is one of the most powerful known toxins. About one microgram of botulin is a lethal dosage. It acts by blocking nerve function and leads to respiratory and musculoskeletal paralysis.

All forms of botulism can be fatal and are considered medical emergencies. Foodborne botulism can be especially dangerous as a public health problem because many people can be poisoned from a single contaminated food source.

Classic symptoms of food borne botulism usually occur between 12-36 hours after consumping the botulinum toxin. However, they can occur as early as 6 hours or as late as 10 days after.

3 Tips to Painproof Your Back

We all spend a lot of time at work, sitting at our desk in front of a computer for up to 8 hours each day. At home we probably sit in front of our computers for additional hours. Our chair, desk and computer setup plays an important role. Your chair should be comfortable allowing both feet to be flat on the floor. Your computer monitor should be at eye level. If you prop one foot up on a footrest (or phone book) and switch feet when you get uncomfortable will decrease any pressure you may feel in your lower back.
You should also get up from your chair every once in awhile to prevent discomfort.

My brother who is a massage therapist has always told me that you must strengthen your core muscles that support your back and spine. Your stomach muscles support your back, so it's a good idea to do core strengthening exercises. Cardio, yoga or pilates are great ways to accomplish this. Make sure to learn the appropriate way to perform these moves.

Getting a good night's sleep is essential. If you can't tolerate sleeping on your back...try putting a pillow under your knees. If that doesn't help, sleep on your side with a pillow between your knees. This will align your spine.

If you suffer from back pain, these tips will improve not only your back pain, but neck problems as well.

Home Tools for the Single Woman

More and more single women are purchasing their own homes due to women becoming financially independent. After married couples, single women make up the largest group of purchasers, compared to single men who make up 9 percent of home buyers, according to a survey by National Association of Realtors.

Home ownership for a single woman, can make them feel independent, secure, boost their self worth and it is a safe way to plan for the future.

Having your own home leads to home decorating..adding your personal touch. Tackling Home improvements projects yourself not only saves money, but you feel a sense of pride doing a project and seeing the results plus you're not being dependent on someone else to do the job for you.

Are you a woman who would like to do your own home projects?
I want to suggest having your own tool box. If you're like me, I have many uses for the 'butter knife' other than spreading butter, but have since replaced that with the appropriate tools.

A general toolbox should include:
Safety glasses, gloves, hammer, hacksaw, six in one screwdriver, 25 foot tape measure, utility blade, staple gun, caulk gun, wood glue, painters' masking tape, plumbing tape, pliers, adjustable wrench, outdoor extension cord, plug in voltage tester, wire cutters, nails, screws and bolts of assorted sizes, electrical tape, level

Some power tools you should own:
Cordless drill with drill bits, electric hand sander, saw

Of course purchasing all these tools at once can be quite costly, so I recommend first purchasing a tool box and work towards filling it. One tool at a time or when you notice a sale at your favorite hardware store.

Owner Financing: Selling a Home Without a Down Payment

I have been asked many questions with regard to selling a home and offering Owner Financing. As previously indicated, I will answer the questions I receive in posts as a way to help other home owners.

Answering John's Question:

Selling a home without a Down Payment

John asks...."I am selling my home and offering Owner Financing, but having trouble finding a good candidate with a good down payment. Should I take a chance and allow a buyer to put no money down?"

My advice to John is that it is never a good idea to sell a home without a down payment. You want the buyer to invest some of their own money into the home. If they have their own money involved they are more likely to take care of the home, keep up with maintenance, pay the bills associated with home ownership. You want the potential buyer to show some commitment to the home.

How many times have you come across a rental property only to see it run down? That renter had no equity in the home, they weren't loosing any of their own money, therefore might not care about the property. What are they loosing? They can walk away and find another place to live....

If you intend on selling this mortgage note down the road, you want the buyer to have some equity in the home from the start. The more equity your buyer has, a contract buyer is more likely to purchase the note.

Example:
A home is selling for $100,000 and the potential buyer can put down $20,000. This buyer is already starting with a 20% equity position. A contract buyer likes to see that.

You might also suggest that a potential buyer secure a personal loan for the down payment. Do they have a credit union or can they borrow against their 401 ? In some cases, you can receive a hardship withdrawal for the down payment towards home purchase and not have to pay the sum withdrawn back. Maybe they can be approved for a lesser amount from the bank or receive a loan from a relative. They then give you the money for the down payment. This option gives you the cash down payment, the buyer has the commitment to the home and a contract buyer will see equity.

Before making any final decisions, please make sure you have a good real estate lawyer to help you. Protect yourself.

ARM's To Reset

According to CNNMoney, soon more than two million adjustable rate mortgages (ARMs) are going to reset at much higher rates in coming months, worsening an already suffering housing market.

Borrowers who took out hybrid ARMs in 2004 and 2005 to secure low "teaser" rates for the first two or three years of the loan may see their monthly mortgage payments climb by 35 percent or more.

In October alone more than $50 billion in ARMs will reset," according to Mark Zandi, chief economist and co-founder of Moody's Economy.com. That's a record, according to Zandi.

A buyer in 2005 with poor credit and limited means might have signed on for a $200,000 2/28 hybrid ARM, locking in a fixed rate of 4 percent for two years. After paying $955 a month, his bill would now be set to spike to $1,331, a 39 percent increase.

The tightening mortgage-loan standards could also result in short-term foreclosure spikes. Home owners with resetting ARMs, for example, may not qualify for refinancing under the stricter oversight. That could lock borrowers into unaffordable loans and they could lose their homes.

The effect of a foreclosure rise and home price slide on the nation's economy may be hard to predict but it will have an impact.

We should take every opportunity to learn what is being offered if it is of interest. Networking is extremely important and it's effect is what we all strive for. Whether it be word of mouth or blog marketing.

As with television that brings you sponsored ads for sales, new products,etc... I will be able to bring attention to certain products and/or web sites that some would not ordinarily be exposed to. I myself learned about web sites that I can benefit from when I filtered through the opportunities on payperpost .I doubt I would have had the chance to know about these sites had I not found them on the payperpost site.

I also believe that this will tune up my writing and communication. These sponsored ads are reviewed and they all have guidelines which must be followed, so the posts must be of quality.

The addition of Sponsored ads is an added perk to me as a blogger.I have already become addicted to writing and look forward to writing posts. I have been getting positive feedback, so I know I have been successful in bringing information to my readers and/clients that they found useful.

I hope I am able to bring a post that will interest you and can benefit from.

Are Compact Fluorescent Bulbs Worth It?

Yes, they are. In fact, they are taking over the shelves at the Home Depot and hardware stores.

According to Fast Company, if every American swapped in just one bulb in their homes, we'd save enough electricity to power all of Delaware and Rhode Island. We'd also cut 1.3 million cars' worth of greenhouse gases!

You will also save $30 over the lifetime of each compact fluorescent bulb you install as per the Environmental Agency.

A CFL bulb runs cool, uses 70% less energy than a incandescent bulb and lasts 14 months or 14 years if used 2 hours a day, according to the manger of Home Depot, Brent Hodgson.

The CFL bulb comes on instantly and emits a warm light that nearly indistinguishable from incandescent light.

So if you are looking to save alittle money, doing something to help cut greenhouse gases, go out and change your bulbs. Helping the enviroment one bulb at a time...
